PAK LEATHER JACKETS
Privacy policy.
Last updated: 5 November 2026
Pak Leather Jackets is a leatherwear and accessories business based in Sialkot, Pakistan. This policy explains how we handle information when you browse pakleatherjackets.com, use an account or wishlist, place an order, leave a review, or send a product, custom-design or bulk-order enquiry.
1. Who is responsible for your information?
Pak Leather Jackets is responsible for the customer information we collect through this store. Contact us at sales@pakleatherjackets.com, call +92 321 6010176, or write to Street Ghurdwaran, Neka Pura, Sialkot 51310, Pakistan. You can also use our contact form.
2. Information we collect
- Orders and accounts: your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, products and options selected, quantities, order history, and account details where an account is used.
- Custom and bulk enquiries: the contact and company details you provide, delivery country, product references, quantities, measurements or sizes, color choices, requested dates, reference links and the message you send us.
- Payments: payment status, transaction references and limited payment information returned by the payment service. The payment provider processes the payment details required for the method you choose.
- Wishlist, comments and reviews: products saved to a wishlist, review ratings, the name and comment you submit, and related account or contact details. Reviews and comments intended for publication may be visible publicly with their display name; email addresses are not displayed with the comment.
- Technical information: session identifiers, browser and device information, IP addresses and server or security logs used to operate and protect the site. Our enquiry form also uses a short-lived, hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions.
Please send only information needed for your order or enquiry. Do not include account passwords, full payment-card details, identity documents or other sensitive information in a general message.
3. How and why we use information
We use customer information to answer questions, prepare quotations, discuss custom designs, manage accounts, take and fulfil orders, arrange delivery, process payment-related enquiries, and provide customer support. Session information keeps the bag, sign-in and wishlist working. Technical records help us prevent misuse and investigate errors.
Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, these activities may be necessary to take steps you request before an order, perform our agreement with you, meet legal obligations, or pursue legitimate interests in running and securing the store. Where consent is required for an optional activity, we rely on that consent and provide a way to withdraw it.
Order and enquiry messages are service communications. Placing an order or sending an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails. If a marketing subscription is offered, it will have a separate choice and an unsubscribe option.
4. Who receives information?
Authorised store staff and service providers receive information needed for their role. The services involved depend on your payment, delivery destination and the features you use.
- Hosting and store operations: Verpex hosts the website and its stored records. Hosting, email-delivery and technical-support services may process information needed to keep the store and its communications working. See Verpex’s privacy policy.
- Payments: available methods are shown at checkout. If you choose Stripe or PayPal, the selected provider processes the information needed to handle the payment, fraud checks and related requirements under its own terms and privacy notice. See Stripe’s privacy policy and PayPal’s privacy statement.
- Delivery: UPS, DHL, FedEx or DPEX may receive the recipient’s name, delivery address, contact details, shipment information and information needed for customs or delivery support. See the privacy notices of UPS, DHL and FedEx.
- Reviews: we use Customer Reviews for WooCommerce to manage review requests. An optional invitation uses the name, email and order details needed to request feedback. The store is configured to send invitations through its own mail system; automatic reminders and CusRev-hosted verified reviews are not enabled. Any future use of a hosted review service will be reflected in this policy.
- Legal and business requirements: we may disclose information where required by law or where reasonably needed to handle a dispute, protect customers or the store, or obtain professional advice.
For shipping services offered through DPEX, see DPEX’s privacy policy.
When an avatar is displayed with a comment or review, a hashed version of the commenter’s email address may be sent to Gravatar to request the associated profile image. See Automattic’s privacy policy for that service.
Payment, delivery and hosting services may process information outside your country. The location and privacy rules depend on the provider and the service used. Their linked notices explain their own processing and contact options. Where applicable law requires safeguards for a transfer, the relevant requirements apply.
Spam and fraud prevention: the store retains its existing Cloudflare Turnstile and Google reCAPTCHA integrations where configured for protected forms. These services may process network, browser, device and interaction signals to assess automated activity. reCAPTCHA may use a security cookie. See the Turnstile Privacy Addendum and Google reCAPTCHA information. These security services are separate from optional advertising and audience statistics.
5. Cookies and similar storage
The store uses first-party cookies for requested shopping, account and wishlist features. Some cookies are set only after you use the relevant feature. Their names can contain a site-specific identifier.
| Cookie or feature | Purpose | Usual duration |
|---|---|---|
woocommerce_items_in_cart, woocommerce_cart_hash | Keep the bag and its displayed contents in sync. | Browser session. |
wp_woocommerce_session_* | Associate your browser with its shopping session. | Normally 2 days for guests or 7 days when signed in; use can renew the session. |
wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie | Support sign-in and test whether cookies work. | Session or sign-in period; choosing “Remember me” can extend sign-in to 14 days. |
woocommerce_recently_viewed | Remember recently viewed products for store features. | Browser session. |
yith_wcwl_session_* and wishlist storage | Remember a guest wishlist and associate saved products with its session. | Normally up to 30 days for the guest session; account-linked lists remain with the account until removed. |
comment_author_* and related comment cookies | Remember comment details when you choose the “save my details” option. | Normally up to one year. |
This version of the store does not load Google Analytics, Google advertising scripts or WordPress.com Statistics. Optional WooCommerce referral/order-attribution tracking is also switched off. If additional optional analytics or advertising is introduced, we will update the information here and provide any consent choices required before it operates.
You can inspect, remove or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking a shopping or sign-in cookie may prevent that feature from working. Payment providers can use their own cookies when you interact with their payment service; see the relevant provider’s notice. Cookie duration can also be affected by browser settings and renewed visits.
6. How long information is kept
We currently do not apply a fixed automatic deletion schedule to active customer accounts, order records or custom/contact/bulk enquiries. These records can remain in the store and related correspondence until they are reviewed and removed. This includes pending, failed, cancelled, completed and refunded order records; it does not mean that every record must be retained permanently. Published comments and reviews can remain on the site, with their related records, until moderated or removed.
We assess deletion requests against the information still needed for fulfilment, after-sales support, accounting, disputes, fraud prevention or applicable legal obligations. A request may require manual review, and some records may need to be retained or restricted rather than deleted immediately. The enquiry form’s short-lived anti-spam counter expires after approximately 10 minutes. Session cookies have their own lifetimes, as described above. Hosting logs, backups, and records held by payment or courier services follow their operational requirements and applicable obligations.
7. Your choices and requests
Contact sales@pakleatherjackets.com to ask what information we hold about you, request a copy or correction, or request deletion. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to certain processing, receive data in a portable format, withdraw consent, or complain to a relevant privacy authority.
Use the email address associated with the order or enquiry and include the reference if you have it. We may need to verify your identity and the scope of the request before disclosing or changing information. Do not email passwords or full card details. You can edit available account details in My Account, remove products from a wishlist, and manage browser cookies yourself.
Review invitations are optional. You can leave the invitation checkbox unchecked at checkout or contact us if you no longer want an invitation. Withdrawing an optional choice does not affect the use of information needed to handle an existing order or a legal obligation.
8. Security and information you publish
We restrict store administration to authorised staff and use access controls and service-provider protections appropriate to operating the website. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your password private, sign out on shared devices, and tell us promptly if you believe an account or message has been misused.
A public comment or review can be read and copied by other visitors. Avoid including private contact details or other information you do not want published. External links and payment or delivery services have their own notices and practices.
9. Children and updates to this policy
The store is intended for customers able to place an order under our terms and conditions; it is not directed at children. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied information that should be reviewed or removed.
We may update this policy when the store’s services, providers or practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Contact our team if you have a question about a change or how this policy applies to your information.
